These are a few of my favourite things:
-A well-turned phrase
-Dinner with one friend vs. dinner with a group of people
-Being coy and then denying that I'm being coy
-Bernardo Bertolucci’s _The Dreamers_
-That moment in the morning when you wake up early thinking you have to get up, but then
you suddenly remember that you can sleep in
-Cursing like a sailor
-Plotting the (inevitable, bloody) downfall of my enemies
-The smell of leaves burning
-You know what with you know whom
-Meeting people as off-kilter and unstable as I am and knowing they “get” me
-Dig-Dug for Atari
-Knowing intuitively that my cat loves me, and not just because I feed him
-Walking through downtown Vancouver with a Chai tea on a crisp, sunny October day
-Listening to Fleetwood Mac’s _Tusk_ at 2am and wanting to cry but I can't because I'm
dead inside
-Believing that someday I might take the perfect photograph
-The Darcys!

Poutine
The idea of poutine pizza
Kiefer Sutherland’s voice
Books about music
Harmonizing
Making up new swear words
Delivery services of any kind
Watching bad movies on a Sunday afternoon
Beer and popcorn
Dancing crazy
Sitting on stage when the theatre’s empty
Telling secrets to strangers
Sleeping in
Honesty
Strong tea
Learning how to knit
Drinking wine in front of the TV
Refusing to use commas
Waiting until the last minute
